Hello World!

My Personal Projects!
Projects made both for fun and for school/practice!
Burger Chubs Sound Effects Highlight Reel: A small highlight reel of the sound effects I have made for the animated short “Burger Chubs” directed by Gabriella DiMarco. I utilized both original recorded sound bites, already existing sound bites that were provided for me, and newly recorded foley to create the aural environment in this twisted burger world.

A foley practice with a scene from The Incredibles. Recorded with a Zoom H4n Pro and edited in Adobe Audition.
Smooth Sailing: A small video I did when I got home from studying abroad in London during the start of 2020…happy sailing! Recorded in Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island Video recorded and edited by me in Adobe Premiere. Music written, recorded, and edited by me in GarageBand. Waves recorded by me with a Zoom 4Hn Pro

A final project for a science of sleep and dreams class to express the states of lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis. Featuring all original art, sound, and animation!

f o g was a project I did for a class when I was studying abroad at The University of the Arts London. The video footage is promotional material for Japanese artist Fuji Nakaya who did mist installations in parks around the world. I edited the visuals and made the audio for this project. This project was originally made to be showcased at an art gallery in London, but due to COVID-19, that never happened.
Jojo Sound Effects Project: This was a project for a theatre sound design class. There were only two people in the class, so the professor changed the project to be a clip from our favorite anime and remake all the sound effects. I chose a clip from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure part 2, Battle Tendency. This video is only the sound effects I’ve made but I think it would be very fun to revisit it and add voices and make some music.
Sound Design Final – Invader Zim pilot: This is my final project for my film sound design class. The assignment was to take about 5 minutes of your favorite movie/show etc. and remove all the exiting sound and replace it all with your own sound. When I took the class, it was peak COVID and everyone was doing school online. With that challenge existing, I did not have access to my school’s equipment or spaces. So this entire project was recorded and edited by me using only my own Zoom H4n, and my laptop. I used different foley techniques, already existing recordings from my sound bank, and GarageBand to create this. It was assembled and edited in Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Evolution of the Stop-Motion Videos: This is a little compilation of some of the stop-motion animations my sister and I have done. Some of these go back almost 10 years! The setup for most of these is very DIY. We used a liquor bottle and tape to hold up our iPad and hoped for the best. We even had to figure out how to finesse an app originally made for making music videos to record clips in .01 bursts to get the stop-motion effect we were aiming for. A lot of these were made because we were bored and wanted to fool around with making a video, and eventually it led into me making stop-motion videos or elements of stop-motion for school!
